Job Summary
Plan, coordinate, and evaluate operations and patient care for designated areas while serving as a clinical resource for staff and patients. Perform duties as a staff nurse when needed and execute delegated managerial responsibilities consistent with Mercy Service Standards. This full-time, 40-hour night shift role requires a BSN-preferred RN with 3-5 years of hospital experience, BLS certification, and the ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for prolonged periods. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with one of the following: Associate Degree in Nursing, Nursing Diploma, or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri or possess compact licensure, in accordance with state board of nursing regulations
- 3-5 years of hospital nursing experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association, or completion within 30 days of hire
- Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50lbs regularly
- Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as needed to perform nursing duties
