Job Summary
Plan, coordinate, and evaluate operations and patient care for designated areas while serving as a clinical resource for staff and patients. Function as a staff nurse when needed and assume delegated managerial duties. Maintain current Missouri RN licensure and hold BLS certification. Work full-time nights shifts with 40 hours per week at Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, Missouri. Requires 3-5 years of hospital nursing experience and an associate, diploma, or BSN degree.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an Associate Degree in Nursing
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a Nursing Diploma
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri
- Compact licensure in accordance with state board of nursing regulations
- 3-5 years of hospital nursing experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association
- Completion of BLS certification within 30 days of hire
- Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50lbs regularly
- Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as needed to perform nursing duties
