Job Summary
Assist in the planning, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of operations and patient care for designated areas. Serve as a clinical resource for staff and patients in the department. Function as a staff nurse as needed and assume managerial duties delegated by a manager. Perform all duties consistent with Mercy mission, values, and Service Standards. Requires current Missouri RN licensure, BLS certification, and 3-5 years of hospital nursing experience. Full-time night shift at Mercy Hospital South.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with one of the following: Associate Degree in Nursing, Nursing Diploma, or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Must hold and maintain a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri or possess compact licensure, in accordance with state board of nursing regulations
- 3-5 years of hospital nursing experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association, or completion within 30 days of hire
- Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50lbs regularly
- Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as needed to perform nursing duties
