Job Summary
Coordinate and manage the clinical support staff and clinical workflows within the clinic. Lead the nursing department to ensure patient care is efficient, safe, and timely, addressing patients' physical, psychological, and spiritual needs. Work closely with physicians on practice-related nursing matters, ensure compliance with clinic policies, and drive quality and skill improvements among clinical staff. Role emphasizes leadership in an ambulatory setting, supervising clinical staff, delegation of nursing responsibilities, and maintaining high standards of nursing practice while partnering with care teams to support Providence Swedish Medical Group’s patient-focused culture.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited school of registered nursing
- Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- 3 years of direct patient care experience, preferably in an ambulatory setting
- Experience in delegation of nursing responsibilities to licensed and unlicensed personnel, preferably within the ambulatory setting
