Job Summary
Civil Supervisor responsible for direct hire scope of works on the Eva Copper Process Plant, monitoring direct hire and subcontractor site activities to ensure ES&H compliance, quality, and schedule adherence. Coordinates installation contractors, project status, schedule, cost control, change management, and submittals; reviews technical documents and drawings, and maintains effective collaboration with client, contractors, and other stakeholders. Role is offered on a FIFO basis to North Queensland with a 2:1 roster. Must demonstrate leadership, independent work capability, and a proactive approach to civil and earthworks on industrial projects.
Required Qualifications
- Recognised engineering degree (preferably a bachelor’s) or equivalent
- Minimum 10 years of experience in civil and concrete works on industrial plants
- Minimum 10 years of experience in construction projects in a contractor or PMC role
- Experience with large-scale bulk excavation and excavated materials movements
- Experience with large reinforced concrete construction pours including excavations on major equipment foundations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to maintain positive relationships with client, contractors, and stakeholders
