Job Summary
Conduct laboratory testing for raw materials, in-process, end product, and stability samples using equipment such as HPLC, UV/Visible spectrophotometers, and Total Organic Carbon analyzers. Perform data review, compile summaries, and track trending while executing, authoring, and reviewing protocols, reports, and PR investigations. Lead a team by overseeing day-to-day operations, providing coaching on documentation, and managing departmental goals and continuous improvement projects. Coordinate testing at external labs, conduct audit tours, and interface with customers and other departments to ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to standard operating procedures. Maintain laboratory equipment, sanitize clean areas, and require aseptic gowning for sterile environments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors deree in Chemistry or relevant physical science
- Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or related industry
- Minimum of two (2) years in a leadership role
- Must pass a background check
- Must pass a drug screen
- May be required to pass Occupational Health Screening
- Must be able to perform aseptic gowning with materials required to enter the aseptic processing area
- Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must possess effective presentation skills
- Must possess a strong grasp of algebraic and geometric principles
- Must possess a strong technical foundation and proven capability in effectively utilizing diverse software tools
- Must possess adeptness in manufacturing and internet software
