Job Summary
Manage a team of laboratory Analysts and Technicians by planning daily work assignments, conducting performance evaluations, and handling disciplinary actions. Ensure the Chemistry Laboratory delivers scheduled results while maintaining compliance with ISO-17025, ISO-9001, and other accreditations. Serve as a technical expert for study designs, analytical techniques, and data analysis, training staff on methods and reviewing protocols and client reports. Develop and validate analytical methods, Standard Operating Procedures, and safety documents. Investigate client inquiries and complaints, providing technical support to Marketing, Sales, and Customer Service teams. Complete laboratory tasks within tight deadlines while inputting technical information to support operations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related sciences discipline
- 3+ years working in an Analytical chemistry setting with experience following strict safety standards with hands-on experience on GC-MS, UPLC-MS, LC and/or ICP-MS instruments
- 2+ year of protocol and report writing experience
- 1-3 years supervisory/Team Lead experience
- 3-5 years of Pharmaceutical industry experience in FDA regulated labs including GMP/GLP/GDP operations
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in Chemistry or related scientific disciplines
