Job Summary
Supervise patient transport personnel to ensure competency in safe handling, double identification, and automated dispatch system usage. Establish daily assignment schedules, monitor work, and define expected outcomes for employees across Patient Transport, Cleaning, and Linen areas. Conduct Shadow Rounds to ascertain service quality, inspect areas for compliance with safety and sanitation regulations, and utilize audit results to improve transportation time and reduce overtime. Evaluate staff performance, perform counseling, and discipline subordinates in accordance with HR policies and the Collective Bargaining Agreement. Develop staff training programs, maintain detailed records of performance and training status, and prepare daily reports on activities and incidents.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Two years of supervisory experience
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Good communication skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
