Job Summary
Supervise athletic trainers and clinical staff by managing hiring, training, evaluations, leave requests, and conflict resolution while maintaining a positive clinic atmosphere. Conduct comprehensive health history and physical assessments for patients with acute or chronic injuries, perform physical examinations, and accurately transcribe standing orders under physician direction. Coordinate daily staffing across all locations, monitor schedules and overtime, and facilitate patient appointments, rescheduling, and referrals. Maintain constant communication with team members, providers, and Patient Experience to address grievances and ensure compliance with university and agency policies. Serve as a preceptor for students and assist with departmental operations and outreach relationships.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field
- Active FL Athletic Trainer license
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
- Ability to exercise sound judgment in making critical decisions
- Ability to effectively plan, delegate and/or supervise the work of others
- Ability to lead, motivate, develop and train others
- Ability to direct, manage, implement, and evaluate department operations
- Ability to process and handle confidential information with discretion
