Job Summary
Supervises, plans, organizes, and coordinates the activities of the perioperative staff in the Pre-admission department. This role involves direct supervision of staff, managing daily operations including scheduling and billing, and acting as a liaison between various departments. Requires an Associate degree in Nursing and two years of Nursing experience along with leadership and organizational skills. Must exhibit strong communication abilities and knowledge of healthcare practices, alongside current Registered Nurse licensure in Pennsylvania.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Nursing
- Two (2) years of Nursing experience
- Zero (0) to Two (2) years supervisory/management experience
- Strong leadership ability
- Good organizational skills
- Independent and critical thinking skills
- Strong communication skills
- Extensive knowledge in perioperative service workflow
- Knowledge of Healthcare Charging
- Functional skills on PC and Microsoft Office
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- Four (4) years’ experience in Nursing
- Experience in Healthcare setting
- Prior project management
