Job Summary

Oversee daily operations in assigned functional areas, ensuring maintenance tasks comply with air carrier requirements and inspection procedures. Provide supervision, guidance, and prioritization to the team across multiple specialties, validating work performed by self or subcontractors remains airworthy and aligned with approved technical data. Utilize customer packages for maintenance planning, coordinate communication with leads and crew regarding safety and quality, and manage material orders with internal support. Approve and return aircraft or parts to service, coordinate engineering priorities, and ensure responses support delivery milestones. Provide training and development for mechanics while adapting to changes and managing competing demands.

Required Qualifications

  • Airframe, or Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Five years' recent commercial aircraft maintenance and/or MRO experience
  • Minimum of two years' aircraft maintenance leadership experience
  • Ability to communicate in English (read, write, and verbally communicate)
  • Ability to work with all levels of the organization
  • Mathematical knowledge and ability to apply towards problem solving
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience supervising employee/team in a productive and efficient manner
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
  • Ability to work independently and cross-functionally as part of an established and growing team
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time
  • Ability to use hands to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
