Job Summary
Oversee daily operations in the assigned functional area, ensuring maintenance tasks comply with air carrier requirements and inspection procedures. Provide supervision, guidance, and prioritization to the team across multiple specialties, including subcontractors, while validating materials and coordinating engineering priorities for aircraft delivery milestones. Supervise maintenance, preventative maintenance, or alterations of aircraft and parts, ensuring all work is performed in an airworthy manner using approved technical data. Coordinate communication with leads and crew regarding safety, planning, and quality, and manage labor hours and resource utilization between skill sets. Keep assigned areas clean and audit-ready, identifying hazards to ensure employee safety and compliance with safety requirements. Ensure mechanics are properly trained through continuous evaluation of the OJT program and assist in following proper procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Airframe, or Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification required
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of five (5) years' recent commercial aircraft maintenance and/or MRO experience preferred
- Minimum of two (2) years' aircraft maintenance leadership experience preferred
