Job Summary
Develops and directs afterschool initiatives and signature programs (e.g., 5000 Role Models of Excellence); secures grants/donations to support programming; oversees staff supervision, training, and performance evaluations; manages district mentoring and nighttime programs; prepares program web content; maintains participation data; analyzes district-wide data to drive improvements; develops annual budget estimates; fosters community involvement through councils and committees; works outside normal hours including Saturdays.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Three (3) years experience in department or program management
- Five (5) years experience in a community relations capacity that includes involvement in enrichment programs, development of community partnerships, and/or volunteer activities
- One (1) year experience in pre-employment or pre-volunteer screening
