Job Summary
Supervises accounting staff and applies principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports. Oversees the monthly financial close process, prepares financial statements and projections, assists with audits, and completes special projects. Requires a BA/BS in accounting, three years of general ledger experience, and knowledge of GAAP. Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with Oracle accounting software are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in accounting or related field required
- Three or more years of general ledger work experience preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed
- Full comprehension of general ledger accounts, accrual basis accounting and reports, including balance sheets, income statement and statement of cash flow
Desired Qualifications
- MBA
- CPA
- Prior casino accounting experience
- Experience with Oracle accounting software
- Ability to create detailed Excel spreadsheets
