Job Summary
Supervisor position at a Marriott-affiliated hotel in Sao Paulo, Brazil, focusing on guest services and front-desk operations. Responsibilities include assisting staff with expediting guest payments, processing check-ins and room keys, handling various payment types, preparing guest accounts, anticipating availability issues and offering alternatives, blocking rooms, coordinating with Housekeeping, reviewing shift logs, and maintaining accurate financial handling (bank counts, receipts). Also responsible for assisting management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees; promoting the company’s Open Door policy, ensuring policy compliance, delivering professional communication, building positive relationships, and upholding quality standards. Requires ability to stand or walk for extended periods and to perform other reasonable duties. Education preferred: high school diploma or GED; minimum one year related experience; no supervisory experience required for the role; no license/ certifications required.
