Job Summary
Direct daily operations across processing lines to meet safety, quality, and throughput targets while leading a team of operators. Conduct pre-job risk assessments, JSAs, and permit-to-work oversight; enforce zero-injury culture and PPE compliance. Manage raw material charges, batch records, and equipment changeovers; coordinate maintenance work and validate isolations. Lead shift handovers, toolbox talks, and corrective actions for off-spec deviations. Ensure adherence to all safety, environmental, and company standards while optimizing yields and energy usage.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of chemical or related process plant experience
- 1–3+ years in a lead or supervisory capacity
- Strong knowledge of process operations, permits, and energy isolation/LOTO
- Proficiency with basic MS Office tools
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and make sound decisions under pressure
- Working knowledge of OSHA concepts
- Understanding of quality systems and basic statistics
