Job Summary
Supervise, train, and support cleaning staff in daily tasks while assigning duties, creating work schedules, and monitoring attendance and performance. Conduct regular inspections of facilities, rooms, and equipment to ensure cleaning standards, safety protocols, and client expectations are consistently met. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, submit supply requests, and coordinate with management for special projects. Enforce compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations by training staff on safe chemical handling and reporting incidents immediately. This full-time third shift role runs Monday to Friday from 2 PM to 10:30 PM for a family-owned janitorial company serving South Florida schools.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in cleaning, housekeeping, or janitorial services
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures
- Applicants must be eligible to work in United States
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift moderate weights for extended periods
- Comfortable working in various environments (office, industrial, residential, etc.)
Desired Qualifications
- Supervisory or team-lead experience preferred
