Job Summary
Supervising Therapist provides clinical oversight and supervision to unlicensed and licensed clinicians, students, and substance abuse counselors; carries a small caseload and provides direct care to individuals, couples, and families, with responsibilities spanning clinical supervision, administrative oversight, documentation review, and ensuring quality service delivery in a Behavioral Health Center in Rochester, NY.
Required Qualifications
- Current NYS license required (LCSW, LCSW-R, LMHC, LMFT); CASAC a plus
- At least three (3) years post-graduate experience providing treatment to individual/families with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders; prior experience providing clinical and administrative supervision is preferred
- Must be flexible, oriented to family work and have the ability to work one evening per week
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must have a valid New York State driver’s license and access to reliable transportation when required
