Job Summary
Oversee planning and coordination of maintenance programs, mentor and supervise maintenance staff across trades (carpentry, painting, metal work, plumbing, electrical), maintain and review quality and safety standards, manage and reduce work orders and vacant unit turnover targets, prepare productivity and other maintenance reports, coordinate with subcontractors, ensure compliance with HUD/state/federal regulations, respond to residents' needs and complaints, and lead on-call and overtime processes while fostering customer-service oriented teams.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED with additional training related to maintenance, HVAC, and HUD quality standards
- ten (10) years building/facilities maintenance and repair experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- two (2) years of supervisory or lead experience
- valid Maryland driver's license
- ability to be covered under the Authority's vehicle insurance policy
- availability to work some evenings and weekends as needed
- successful completion of a prescreening investigation, including verification of employment history and education credentials
- 6-month probationary period for this full-time permanent position
