Job Summary
Oversee assigned mid-level providers through regular chart reviews, complex case guidance, and targeted clinical training to ensure compliance with CCHC regulations and quality metrics. Deliver primary and preventive care, stabilize urgent patients, and manage triage or rescheduling when assigned providers are unavailable. Collaborate with the healthcare team, complete patient charts and lab specimens per standards, and participate in on-call rotations and quality assurance audits. Serve as a preceptor for medical students, residents, and physician assistants as assigned by the CMO.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited medical school with a degree of Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)
- Completion of an accredited residency
- Unrestricted license to practice within California
- Valid DEA
- PALS or NRP, ACLS
- Must be available to the mid-level provider when the mid-level is seeing a patient, either in person, or by electronic means
Desired Qualifications
- Board certification or board eligible in specialty preferred
