Supervising Social Worker for the Connected People’s Team responsible for kinship assessments, permanence planning (Special Guardianship Orders), and court-directed work across a wide Cheshire West and Chester area. Responsible for safeguarding and wellbeing of children, providing supervision to approved carers, producing evidence-based written reports, and ensuring timely submissions within court timelines. Role involves out-of-county travel and occasional overnight stays to undertake essential assessments; requires full UK driving licence and access to a car. Registered social worker with evidence-based practice in kinship/fostering contexts, and solid understanding of the Children Act and permanence options.
