Job Summary
Oversee nursing staff in an outpatient opioid treatment setting, ensuring medication administration accuracy, adherence to infection-control policies, and supervision of RNs/LPNs and clinical pharmacy staff. Responsibilities include overseeing medication storage and inventory, implementing policy and regulatory compliance, documenting patient care activities and dosage changes, coordinating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams, managing nursing schedules, and supporting treatment team meetings. The role emphasizes supervision, patient care quality, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with Medical Director and Program Director to promote patient health and treatment outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Active licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state in which work is performed
- 3+ years of progressive professional-level nursing experience
- Knowledge of opiate addiction and infection control
- Ability to supervise and manage day-to-day clinical pharmacy operations of LPN staff
- Ability to organize assigned work and maintain nursing records
- Experience with medication dosage administration and documentation
- Familiarity with Drug Enforcement Administration and controlled substances procedures
- Strong communication and charting/documentation skills
- Ability to travel up to 10% (if applicable)
