Job Summary
Supervising Journeyman Electrician needed to oversee field electricians on commercial projects in the greater NJ market. Responsibilities include supervising helpers/apprentice electricians, planning and executing electrical installations in accordance with national/local codes (NEC), reading diagrams/blueprints, installing conduit and wiring, connecting lighting fixtures and power equipment, troubleshooting electrical systems, ensuring safety, maintaining customer relations, and completing project paperwork. Travel within the NJ market is expected; master license is a plus but not required. Benefits include Medical and Dental Insurance and a 401(k) plan with company match.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate or GED equivalent
- 4 years’ experience in electrical project installations
- Valid state motor vehicle operator's license & clear driving record to meet Company policy
- Applicable state certification
- Reliable transportation
- Position requires electricians hand tools
- Advanced electrical knowledge required
