Job Summary
Harbor is seeking a Supervising Clinical Therapist to manage individual, family, and group counseling. The role involves providing direct treatment for a caseload of children, adolescents, and adults, maintaining clinical responsibility, and offering telehealth services. The therapist will conduct assessments, treatment planning, and documentation, while also ensuring compliance with the organization's policies. Responsibilities include crisis intervention, facilitating referrals, and managing case loads efficiently. The position demands strong communication skills and proficiency in documentation, with an emphasis on continual professional growth and participation in agency-wide initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work or a related Behavioral/Mental health field from an accredited college or university
- License to practice independently with supervising credential as a Social Worker/ Counselor in Ohio (LISW-S, LPCC-S) or a license as a Certified Ohio Behavior Analyst (COBA)
- Ability to communicate clearly, verbally and in writing with a variety of audiences
- Proficiency in computer use
- Good documentation, treatment and assessment skills
Desired Qualifications
- Licensure in chemical dependency or proven experience and training in treating substance use disorders in addition to MH licensure
