Job Summary
Ground-testing Methods Supervisor for Airbus Canada Mirabel (A220 program). Lead a 10-15 person Methods team to drive ground testing, troubleshoot issues, and optimize production processes. Define the manufacturing plan (training, tooling, manufacturing, and ground testing) and ensure consistency with engineering specifications. Coach and develop the team, manage performance with KPIs, and drive improvements toward world-class standards. requires an engineering degree with ~10 years of experience in aerospace/manufacturing, plus leadership, project-management experience, and strong interpersonal skills.
Required Qualifications
- Engineering degree (academic and/or technical training in aerospace or management)
- Approximately ten (10) years of experience in engineering
- Proven leadership and ability to manage teams (10-15 employees)
- Experience leading technical projects to ensure optimal product industrialization
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work with minimum supervision
- Experience with defining manufacturing plans including training, tooling, manufacturing, and ground testing
- Familiarity with ensuring alignment between engineering specifications and test procedures
