Job Summary
Provide high intensity support tailored to each participant's unique needs, including assisting with personal care tasks like bathing, grooming, and toileting. Facilitate daily living activities, manage household duties such as cleaning and meal preparation, and administer medications according to prescribed protocols. Accompany participants to medical appointments, enable community participation through transport, and foster social engagement via active companionship. This role requires proven experience with manual handling, bowel and catheter care, and mental health illnesses, alongside relevant qualifications. You must hold current NDIS Worker Screening, WWCC, CPR, First Aid, and Police checks, possess a driver's license with reliable vehicle insurance, and maintain flexible availability for mornings, evenings, weekends, and sleepovers across Bathurst and Lithgow sites.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience with Manual Handling
- Proven experience with High Intensity Support (Bowel care, Catheter care, etc.)
- Proven experience with Mental Health Illnesses
- Relevant Qualifications (e.g. Cert III in Disability or Community Services)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- CPR & First Aid Checks
- Police Check
- Driver's licence
