Job Summary
Superintendent to oversee all field staff, subcontractors and vendors on a single construction project. Responsible for planning, scheduling, coordination of all work, review of contract documents for bid proposals, management of punch lists and final inspections, coordination meetings with foremen, and regular quality control inspections. Will prepare weekly look-ahead schedules, submit daily CMIC reports documenting delays, milestones and weather, assist the project team with evaluating cost and schedule impacts of revisions, schedule delivery of equipment and materials, verify additional work by subcontractors, and produce final as-built drawings. Must ensure work adheres to Wohlsen standards and safety requirements while maintaining project budget and timeline.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Technology, Engineering or other related discipline or equivalent field experience
- A minimum of 7 years of field construction experience in a supervisory capacity on projects ranging from $5 to $10 million
- Ability to read and understand contract drawings and specifications
- A demonstrated attainment of Superintendent I position standards
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to perform work at elevations above ground level
- Have a valid driver’s license and the ability to travel as necessary and work additional hours as necessary to meet business goals. Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
