Job Summary
Advise on-site commissioning, troubleshoot marine engine issues, and maintain accurate records of field activities, service reports, and maintenance logs. Ensure economic resource use, record project controlling data for invoicing, and adhere to safety standards and regulatory requirements during all operations. Collaborate with engineers to solve complex technical problems, continuously update technical skills through training on marine engine advancements, and manage field service projects effectively. Interpret English documents and communicate insights to teams while applying best practices for safety and compliance.
Required Qualifications
- MSc in Mechnical Engineering
- 2-Stroke Engine Knowledge: Feeling for engine performance, thermodynamics, vibrations, materials, and structures.
- Experience of 2-stroke engine service & operation including automation system & electronics.
- Graduated in equipment, electrical, or electronics-related fields or with relevant experience.
- Focusing on hands-on experience with safety standards in field operation.
- Strengths in either troubleshooting / measurements on board and/or high complexity work as software update and onboard tunning related work
- Experience or ability to support effective management of field service projects and coordination with teams.
- PC user Software and simple "PC setup" skills are necessary.
- Ability to interpret and create documents in English and effectively communicate.
- Self-driven and self-critical working behaviour with the target of continuous improvement.
