Job Summary
Manage all day-to-day field operations from mobilization through project closeout, overseeing safety, quality, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination. Lead ground-up commercial and tenant improvement projects while developing three-week look-ahead schedules and conducting daily jobsite walks to enforce OSHA standards. Coordinate inspections, review drawings and RFIs, and resolve field issues to maintain project schedules and budgets. Partner with project managers, engineers, and clients to lead punch list completion and turnover activities. Requires minimum seven years of superintendent experience with projects ranging from $5 million to $100 million, including travel to San Antonio initially before transitioning to Dallas Fort Worth.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of Superintendent experience with a commercial general contractor
- Strong experience managing ground up commercial construction projects
- Strong tenant improvement experience
- Ability to manage projects ranging from $5 million to $100 million or more
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing and scheduling
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Experience leading multiple subcontractor trades simultaneously
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Willingness to travel to San Antonio during the initial assignment before transitioning to Dallas Fort Worth projects
