Superintendent

Oversees the maintenance and construction of an 18 or 27 hole golf course (or courses) with multi-million-dollar revenue, ensuring turf grass and landscape upkeep meet established standards. Manages annual maintenance budgets and capital plans; directs maintenance of greens, tees, fairways, roughs, bunkers, and related facilities; supervises planting and cultural practices for turf grasses, trees, and ornamentals; ensures equipment is properly maintained; procures supplies within budget; maintains records and prepares reports; implements purchasing procedures with preferred vendors; coordinates invoices and payroll; oversees scheduling and training; ensures regulatory compliance and safety; coordinates snow removal when location requires; ensures licensing and training compliance for staff; leads department personnel and develops ongoing training programs; maintains strong attendance and safe work practices; requires English proficiency and familiarity with Microsoft Office. Education/experience preferred in agronomy, horticulture, plant or soil science.
