Job Summary
Oversee maritime training programmes as Course In-Charge, updating course master files, creating and updating participant materials, PPTs, videos, exercises, and tests; ensure alignment with new regulations and best practices; supervise course delivery under the guidance of the Programme Head per QMS and relevant standards (DNV/ national/ international); conduct course verifications, post-course documentation, and timely certification of seafarers; identify training needs from fleet incidents; monitor training hardware and ensure upkeep of equipment; develop Computer Based Training modules and liaise with external bodies for remote assistance; liaise with internal teams (QHSE, Vessel Managers) and external bodies (shipping companies, training institutes, regulatory authorities) to implement improvements and ensure compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Master Mariner Class I – COC from a reputed Flag State or Other Specialized Qualification
- 3-4 yrs teaching experience
- Master of min 1 yr. sailing experience
- Maritime Education and Training
- QHSE and ISO Systems
- Behaviour based safety and Incident Investigation
- Other Marine Specialization / diploma / degrees
