Job Summary
Supervises and manages the personnel and daily operations in water and/or wastewater Treatment. Leads front-line supervisory and hourly staff, supports training to maintain operator certifications, and oversees CAPEX/OPEX-driven production facilities. Responsible for resolving labor issues with HR, tracking financial performance against the business plan, ensuring regulatory compliance and safety, and implementing preventative maintenance and security programs to deliver compliant treated water to customers. Maintains adherence to American Water policies and reporting requirements while driving continuous improvement across production processes and facilities. Strong knowledge of the regulated water industry, operational practices, and asset management, with a focus on ensuring reliability and regulatory standards are met.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in operational discipline, management, or related technical discipline
- Class A Water treatment license, or the ability to obtain Class A Water is highly preferred
- Five (5) years of relevant experience in water utilities is highly preferred
