Job Summary
Lead and manage all field operations for structural bridge concrete work, including footings, columns, caps, decks, and closure pours. Develop and execute work plans ensuring efficient production, safety, and quality compliance while coordinating with project management, engineering, and subcontractors to maintain schedule and budget targets. Oversee concrete placement operations, formwork systems, rebar installation, and curing processes, ensuring adherence to project specifications, contract requirements, and governing standards such as DOT and AASHTO. Mentor superintendents, foremen, and craft personnel to build high-performing teams while identifying risks and resolving field issues through proactive stakeholder communication. This hands-on leader drives safe, high-quality, on-schedule execution across complex heavy civil projects, leveraging deep expertise in structural bridge concrete to deliver cutting-edge infrastructure solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of experience in heavy civil construction, with a strong focus on structural bridge concrete
- Proven experience managing bridge projects, including complex staging and sequencing
- Strong understanding of concrete production, placement techniques, and quality control requirements
- Demonstrated leadership in safety, planning, and field execution
- Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and technical documents
- Excellent communication and team leadership skills
