Job Summary
Superintendent to lead commercial interior and tenant improvement projects in Tacoma, managing on-site crews and subcontractors, coordinating material deliveries, maintaining safety and quality standards, and driving schedule adherence and cost efficiency. Responsible for site documentation (daily reports, RFIs, submittals, change orders, punch lists), fostering strong client/trade partner/vendor relationships, and overseeing field operations from project initiation to completion. Requires 5+ years of tenant-improvement experience, strong leadership and communication skills, proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Procore, Bluebeam), and a valid driver’s license. Compensation: $130k-$160k/year plus bonus.
Required Qualifications
- At least 5 years of demonstrated tenant improvement construction experience
- Proven leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Strong verbal and written communication with the ability to build relationships
- Ability to quickly learn and use construction and project management software such as Microsoft Project, Procore and Bluebeam or equivalent
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
