Job Summary
Superintendent responsible for planning, organizing and directing installation projects of large/complex systems, supervising installers and subcontractors, coordinating materials and subcontractor work, maintaining plans and specifications, managing schedules and budgets, preparing and reviewing financial and status reports, and ensuring quality and customer satisfaction. The role includes training and developing personnel, overseeing As-Builds, documentation, and ensuring project profitability through cost control and effective coordination with engineering, sales, and management. The position requires strong project management skills, experience with low voltage systems, IT equipment familiarity, subcontractor management, and the ability to communicate with customers and internal teams.
Required Qualifications
- High school education or equivalent
- Associate degree (2 year) or bachelor s degree (4 year) in a technical capacity is desirable.
- Project Management experience
- IT Project + or PMP certification desired
- Five years of experience in engineering and installation of low voltage systems, or related field
- Strong knowledge of engineering fundamentals, relay logic, and operations
- Good subcontracting skills
- Excellent written & oral communication skills
- Understanding of job financial reports and cost control in large projects
- Experience with IT-related equipment (servers, databases, networking) is strongly preferred
