Job Summary
Superintendent overseeing NYC hospitality project field operations. Responsible for scheduling, coordination, safety, quality control, and day-to-day supervision of subcontracted work on large commercial/hospitality builds. Regularly reviews project status with the Project Manager and client representatives; directs subcontractor activities on ground-up projects; analyzes manpower, materials, and equipment needs; enforces field policies and procedures; prepares progress reports and forecasts to keep supervisors informed. Requires 7+ years of field experience in commercial projects with supervisory experience; luxury hotel/boutique project experience is a plus; strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of field experience in commercial projects
- Some supervisory responsibility as a General Foreman, Field Engineer or Assistant Superintendent
- Luxury Hotel/Boutique project experience desired
- Well developed communication, interpersonal, organizational and teamwork skills
