Job Summary
Supervises and coordinates semi-skilled and skilled trades personnel, trains employees to improve quality and productivity, and translates broad strategies into actionable plans. Ensures compliance with drawings and procedures and manages manufacturing, installation, operation, testing, and process activities with significant financial impact. Oversees qualified trades staff and monitors job and budget performance across all shifts. Demonstrates leadership, communications, and relationship-building skills to interact with Ingalls personnel and customer representatives, with marine construction experience preferred. Review of Shipbuilding Management Charter and policies is advised before applying.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma and 8 years of experience with 4 years in a craft/ships management role.
- Must be willing and able to work any shift assigned.
