Job Summary
Lead all field operations for a mission critical data center build in Reno, managing daily site command, trade coordination, and production tracking across MEP-dense scopes. Own the site schedule through three-week look-aheads and critical path management, while driving site safety culture via orientations, toolbox talks, and strict enforcement. Coordinate trades in tight spaces, enforce quality standards through QC walks, and support commissioning activities with owner technical teams. Manage site logistics, deliveries, and access; run daily huddles and foreman meetings to document progress. Partner with the project manager on schedule updates, change impacts, and manpower planning, while mentoring assistant superintendents and field engineers. This role offers full field authority and strong support from an in-house self-perform capability and deep bench of PMs and engineers.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of commercial construction field supervision with a general contractor
- Proven experience running large, complex projects
- Deep knowledge of MEP systems coordination and commissioning workflows
- Strong scheduling instincts and command of look-ahead planning
- OSHA 30 preferred; strong safety track record required
- Ability to read and interpret complex drawings and specifications
- Leadership presence that earns respect from foremen, subs, and owners alike
- Valid driver's license
- Drug-free workplace
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States
