Job Summary
Provide day-to-day leadership and direction to construction teams, contractors, and subcontractors while overseeing field execution for industrial projects in mining, energy, and heavy industrial sectors. Review project drawings and specifications, monitor schedule performance, and coordinate with Project Managers and client representatives to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and within quality expectations. Identify construction challenges, provide practical solutions, and promote a strong safety culture by leading by example. Support planning, scheduling, commissioning, turnover, and project closeout activities as required.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in industrial construction, mining, energy, or heavy industrial projects
- Superintendent, Construction Lead, General Foreman, or similar field leadership experience
- Civil or mechanical construction background required
- Experience managing contractors, subcontractors, and field crews
- Strong understanding of construction execution, planning, and field coordination
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and technical documents
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary project teams
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
Desired Qualifications
- Experience supporting mining, industrial, or large capital projects is considered an asset
