Job Summary
Oversee field operations for commercial construction projects by coordinating subcontractors, enforcing safety standards, and managing daily site activities from mobilization through closeout. Establish execution strategies, maintain look-ahead schedules, and audit subcontractor pay applications to ensure projects progress safely, efficiently, and within budget. Direct craft labor, monitor quality compliance, and manage material deliveries while communicating progress updates to owners and stakeholders. Based in Northern Michigan, this role requires a strong background in construction sequencing and project management software proficiency. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution
- Proven ability to independently manage multiple projects and tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and process development skills
- Solid understanding of construction and engineering operations
- Proficiency in data automation tools, project management software, and standard business applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, Excel, and other data management programs)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to collaborate across diverse teams and interact effectively at all organizational levels
- Must be based in Northern Michigan
- Must be able to live near Petosky, Traverse City, Charlevoix, Gaylord, Alpena, Cheboygan, or other surrounding areas
- Must be able to complete a background check
