Job Summary
Lead field execution of infrastructure projects in Nashville, TN, directing earthwork, utilities, drainage, and civil systems while maintaining strict adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards. Create cost efficiencies through process improvement and effective field planning, establishing comprehensive execution strategies for scheduling, logistics, and work sequencing. Manage subcontractor startup meetings, monitor production performance, and ensure compliance with all safety plans and regulatory standards. Log daily reports, progress photos, and inspections, analyzing project metrics to implement corrective actions. Coach and develop a high-performance project team while proactively managing client and stakeholder experiences. Monitor financial performance, identify risks early, and utilize enabling technologies to enhance productivity. Travel regularly between active jobsites to provide consistent on-site leadership and uphold RNGD's core values.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of field leadership experience in civil or infrastructure construction environments
- Demonstrated experience managing infrastructure projects requiring consistent on-site supervision
- Strong understanding of civil construction processes, sequencing, and systems
- Ability to read, understand, and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, and project schedules
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong team morale
- Ability to travel regularly and work on active construction jobsites
