Job Summary
Oversee on-site delivery, inspection, and installation of engineered power packaging equipment, including generator enclosures, fuel tanks, and related systems. Serve as the primary field contact for customers, contractors, riggers, and internal teams while inspecting incoming materials and documenting discrepancies. Review drawings, site plans, and electrical schematics to support field execution, providing technical leadership to crews on breakers, transformers, wiring, and applicable codes. Ensure safety, quality, and site compliance standards are followed, then provide consistent reporting with daily updates, photos, and progress notes. Coordinate with warranty, startup, engineering, and project management teams through closeout. Requires 5+ years in field supervision, strong electrical knowledge, and ability to travel independently.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in field supervision, construction, mechanical/electrical installation, commissioning, or technical field environments
- Strong electrical knowledge with reading electrical schematics, breakers, transformers, contactors, RST, high/low voltage wiring, wiring colors, electrical code, etc.
- Ability to read, understand, or interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, engineering drawings, site plans, and installation documents
- Strong ability to lead experienced crews, earn technical respect, and keep teams aligned in demanding field conditions
- Excellent communication, customer-facing, and stakeholder management skills in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
- Strong reporting discipline with the ability to provide consistent updates, documentation, photos, and progress reports across multiple platforms
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in or closely aligned with power packaging, generator enclosures, E-Houses, data centers, modular power systems, switchgear, industrial electrical systems, or similar technical field environments
