Job Summary
Lead and coordinate all electrical construction activities, including power distribution, lighting, low voltage, fire alarm, and specialty systems. Coordinate mechanical, electrical, and plumbing trades to ensure efficient sequencing and successful project execution. Promote and enforce safety culture while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Manage subcontractors, field personnel, materials, equipment, and project logistics to deliver projects safely, on schedule, and within budget. Partner with Project Managers to maintain schedules, budgets, inspections, testing, and commissioning activities. Build strong relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and stakeholders while mentoring field personnel. Requires 10+ years of commercial construction experience with a strong electrical background and willingness to travel based on project assignments.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of commercial construction experience with a strong emphasis on electrical systems
- 5+ years of experience as an Electrical Superintendent, MEP Superintendent, or electrical field leadership role
- Experience coordinating MEP systems on commercial, healthcare, industrial, education, manufacturing, data center, or multifamily projects
- Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, low voltage, fire alarm, testing, and commissioning
- Working knowledge of mechanical and plumbing systems with the ability to coordinate all MEP trades
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project schedules
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with construction technology and standard computer applications
- Willingness to travel based on project assignments
