Job Summary
Superintendent with 7+ years of field experience in commercial mechanical systems (HVAC and plumbing) to oversee field operations on large new construction projects in Nashville. Responsibilities include directing and supervising crews and subcontractors, coordinating with project managers, engineers, and general contractors to maintain schedules, ensuring safety and quality, monitoring progress against budget, conducting site meetings, planning logistics and manpower forecasting, troubleshooting field issues, and mentoring field staff. Requires strong leadership, familiarity with mechanical drawings and codes, BIM coordination, OSHA 30, and proficiency with project management tools.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ Years of field experience in commercial mechanical constructions (HVAC and plumbing)
- 3+ years in a Superintendent, General Foreman, or similar leadership role on large-scale projects
- OSHA 30 certification
- Ability to interpret and coordinate BIM models and shop drawings
- Proficiency with project management software and digital field tools
