Job Summary
Supervise and manage labor, trades, subcontractors, and suppliers to execute construction projects within budget and schedule; maintain harmonious on-site relations, manage the project schedule and subcontractors, verify subcontractor work against contract documents, oversee safety programs and weekly safety meetings, coordinate with the General Superintendent and project manager, review design documents and RFIs, maintain daily field reports, and ensure compliance with permits, licenses, and safety requirements. ProCore, Microsoft Project, BlueBeam Revu, and other listed tools are used for planning, documentation, and communication. Requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred) and 7+ years of experience, CPR/AED and OSHA 30-hour training.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, architecture, or related field of study (preferred)
- 7+ years of related work experience
- Able to read contract documents (e.g. plans and specifications, conditions of approval, contracts and agreements, consultant reports)
- Experience with ProCore Construction Management Software
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Experience with Microsoft Project
- Experience with BlueBeam Revu and/or Adobe Acrobat
- Experience with BOX Cloud Storage
- Experience with WebEx Conferencing
- Experience with Ring Central
- CPR/AED certificate (required for all employees)
- Thirty (30) hour OSHA training (required)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Collaborative, team-building approach
- Ability to coordinate and direct field staff, subcontractors and suppliers
- Knowledge of on-site safety, quality control, and logistics management
- Familiarity with project cost review and analysis
- Ability to prepare and review daily reports and meeting minutes
- Capacity to manage schedules, RFIs, and subcontractor coordination
- Willingness to travel to job sites as needed
- OSHA safety compliance and Covid-19 response planning
- Ability to ensure permits and licenses are obtained in advance
- Ability to inspect safety equipment and implement site safety plans
