Job Summary
Review plans, specifications, and Subtab sheets to generate RFIs, then support project management with contract administration, procurement, subcontract awards, scheduling, and costing. Manage and inspect installation of interior scopes including drywall, fire-rated assemblies, and acoustical ceilings, while overseeing exterior systems such as cold-formed metal framing, building envelopes, roof decking, and exterior cladding. Maintain strong relationships with trade partners to support project success and provide detailed estimates for bid preparation. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering, 5–10+ years of field supervisory experience, and strong math and scheduling skills. Full-time role in Lafayette, LA with competitive compensation. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University in Construction Management, Engineering, or related curriculum or equivalent work experience
- 5-10+ years of professional experience in field supervisory role for commercial general contractor or subcontractor
- Strong working knowledge of project planning and scheduling for construction trades (all disciplines)
- Detailed knowledge of commercial construction practices
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and scheduling software programs
- Proven skills in the areas of math
