Job Summary
The Superintendent for Major Projects is responsible for overseeing the installation and implementation of large-scale electrical projects. Key responsibilities include managing safety and environmental programs, monitoring job costing, coordinating labor and materials, completing field administration tasks, organizing subcontractor activities, and implementing construction plans. The role requires supervising and mentoring field personnel, participating in field work, and collaborating with various support departments. Candidates should possess a journeyman trade certification, have a proven track record of delivering projects safely and on schedule, and demonstrate strong organizational and leadership skills.
Required Qualifications
- Journeyman Trade Certification in a related Construction trade
- A proven track record of delivering safe projects on schedule and within budget
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
- Excellent knowledge of the Building Codes
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred certifications: OSHA 30, CPR First Aid
