Job Summary
Coordinate all site construction activities by supervising trade personnel, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering projects on schedule and within budget. Maintain project schedules including master and look-ahead plans, prepare daily construction reports, and manage document control for approved shop drawings. Secure required permits, address constructability issues during preconstruction, and communicate design information to the project manager. Oversee daily field operations, manage subcontractor relations, and maintain the punch list process. Attend weekly meetings with foremen and the project team to update status and resolve fieldwork issues.
Required Qualifications
- Engineering, Construction Management or related Bachelors degree, or possess equivalent years of related experience
- Working knowledge of various construction disciplines
- Working knowledge of union agreements/jurisdiction
- Working knowledge of cost control
- Working knowledge of scheduling
- Working knowledge of safety regulations
- Working knowledge of engineering drawings
- Working knowledge of other documents required
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Project
- Working knowledge of Timberline

- NYC Buildings Construction Superintendent License
