Job Summary
The Doe Fund seeks a Building Superintendent for their Jerome Residence to manage maintenance and operational duties, ensuring compliance with city, state, and federal laws, while supporting individuals experiencing homelessness.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma required
- Minimum of five (5) years of janitorial/cleaning experience and building maintenance
- Driver’s License required with a clean driving record
- FDNY Certificate of Fitness S12 & S13
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC/PTAC, carpentry, elevators, appliance maintenance, boilers, and snow removal
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to work independently within a team setting
- Customer service first attitude
- Ability to complete tasks with attention to detail
- Written and verbal communication skills
