Job Summary
Oversee on-site construction operations for medium to large-scale projects, ensuring work complies with project plans, safety regulations, and timelines in DOE, DoD, and commercial environments. Direct civil field activities including excavation, utility coordination, concrete pours, and earthwork while supervising subcontractors and Assistant Superintendents. Coordinate daily site activities, manage materials and equipment, and monitor schedules to meet milestones. Conduct safety meetings to enforce OSHA regulations and quality control reviews. Assist with budget tracking and resolve on-site construction issues. Requires a Bachelor's degree, five years of construction supervision experience, OSHA 30-Hour certification, and a valid driver's license. Full-time role with competitive compensation and benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction supervision
- Experience in DOE, DoD, or large commercial projects
- Ability to plan and support concrete work using work packages, short-interval planning, workface readiness, quantity tracking, and productivity monitoring
- Ability to read and apply drawings, specifications, vendor data, inspection requirements, test requirements, and applicable codes and standards
- Ability to supervise multiple crews and resolve conflicts between CTI work and other trades
- Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and maintain schedules under pressure while maintaining craft crew focus
- OSHA 30-Hour certification
- Experience overseeing construction sites, managing subcontractors, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards
- Valid Driver's License
- Clean driving record
- Ability to meet the physical requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
- First Aid/CPR certification
- Additional certifications in construction management or safety
